Join scholastics from Arrupe International Residence and Loyola House of Studies in Manila in praying the Novena of Grace in preparation for the 400th anniversary of the canonisation of St Francis Xavier and St Ignatius of Loyola. The Novena of Grace is traditionally prayed from 4 to 12 March, but you can pray it anytime.
It is told that St Francis Xavier appeared to a dying Jesuit, Fr Marcello Mastrilli, with a promise that all those who implored his help for nine days from 4 to 12 March, and receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist within those days will obtain from God any grace they ask.
